The 2017 Summer Global Leadership Seminar, a week-long summer institute open to all rising high school sophomores, juniors and seniors, will explore how the Trump administration is reshaping U.S. foreign policy—and how these changes are reverberating around the world. Through guest lectures and interactive workshops, students will examine the new direction of U.S. foreign policy under the leadership of President Trump. Additionally, students will take part in a half-day simulation during which they will role-play the decision-making processes of foreign policy leaders. The Seminar’s fifth-day field trip to Washington, D.C., offers students the exciting opportunity to meet with and hear from foreign diplomats, as well as U.S. foreign policy officials. The cost to participate in the 2017 Summer Global Leadership Seminar, including the fifth-day field trip to Washington, D.C., is $195 per student and includes all daily workshops and activities, as well as field trip transportation, tour fees and lunch in Washington, D.C. Please note that lunch is not provided Monday through Thursday. Cancellations requested on or prior to Friday, June 23 will be refunded, minus a $15 administration fee. No refunds will be granted on or after Saturday, June 24.
